Hi Helrna, I just stumbled upon your post about some confusion between our Sannox Hotel and the tea room that is leased out at Corrie Golf Club. To answer your question, the two premises are quite separate. What has happened at Corrie Golf Club (where the wee green hoose is) sounds quite sad. The problem seems to be at the lease of the Corrie Golf Club Tea Room. Just to clarify, our premises at Sannox Hotel are quite separate and about a mile further south ~ in the village as opposed to across the wee bridge at the northern part. We have not yet completed the Sannox Hotel renovation + New Ingledene Tea Room + New Village Shop. The pandemic delayed the renovations, at Sannox Hotel. Then we literally got hit with a 5,000 ton ship! An head-injury was caused aboard the MV Caledonian Isles that resulted in hospital admission and a stroke That has taken a chunk of time to rehabilitate from. But the more problematic has been the nightmare at management level of CMAL/CalMac. We are even looking at buying back a Class iia ferry we used to own (the MV Lochmor) so a backup ferry service (but mainly sea-tours) can be made available so as to guarantee a service when CalMac senior management are not functioning. Fortunately the major renovation and newbuilds + staff accommodation etc., are now about 90% completed and we are currently sorting out final contracts to get Sannox Hotel finished and properly re-opened.

Hope this helps clarify things. The two premises: Corrie Golf Club Tea-Room and the Sannox Hotel are quite separate. Very best wishes, Russ
