Today, 2nd March 2024 is a little unusual, even by our Unique Property Bulletin ways. It hit us that this huge (former church) building is within sight of where this publication was born: Davaar Island, way back in 1987. For Bulletin readers curious about buying this huge church at just £99,995, and changing the use into 6 flatted dwellings, for example, the writer of this segment can recall the planning process and actual rebuilding of a similar church into the very popular 6 x Castlehill Apartments located up by Campbeltown Police Station in the 1980s. We will have a rustle through the old filing cabinets to find those planning documents (and add to this post later) as they may help you (though for that era, a certain neighbour who sung about the nearby “Mull of Kintrye“ borrowed two of our large cabinets (and there were four precious boxes of Unique Property archives in there from that era). We have been asking the old music warbler to return the boxes and cabinets for the last 20 years. ”Oh Mull of Kintyre, please can we have our filing cabinets back”… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrbuDWit1Co No luck. Yet🙈). Anyways, here is today‘s unique property offering. It is fairly remote, but maybe contemplate why our music warbler singing friend moved to the Mull of Kintyre? Technically he moved up the Gobagrennan Road. But he craved peace and quiet and managed a whole heap of healing whilst he lived here https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/144275306#
