In the 1990s, Russ McLean lost a friend to debt-suicide. The only meaningful thing that he could do to help remedy this tragedy and reduce the 400 debt-suicides in the UK every year was to register a charity. However, the demand on the small group of volunteers became so great that this DIY debt survival manual was published...

The original DIIY debt survival manual was published was fairly basic as following a "Talk Radio" interview with Scott Chisholm in London, the demand on our small charity for help sky-rocketed. So this basic manual was produced within four weeks...
